    นอนไบนารี คือ อัตลักษณ์ทางเพศที่ไม่ชัดเจนหรือไม่จำกัดว่าเป็นหญิงหรือเป็นชาย อาจใช้เป็นคำที่ให้ความหมายกว้างของบุคคลที่มีการรับรู้ส่วนลึกภายในจิตใจที่เข้าข่ายทั้งหญิงและชาย ไม่เข้าข่ายทั้งหญิงหรือชาย หรืออยู่นอกระบบสองเพศโดยสิ้นเชิงก็ได้Non-Binary is a Gender Identity in which one’s gender is not distinctly or exclusively identified as woman or man but rather falls into the gender spectrum. It can be used as an umbrella term associated with femininity, masculinity, in-between or completely outside of the gender binary system.

    เราเรียกร้องสิทธิ์ในการเป็นตัวของตัวเองโดยไม่ถูกล่วงล้ำ สิทธิ์ในการมีตัวตนอย่างแท้จริงในสังคมผ่านการรับรองด้วยกฎหมาย เพื่อขจัดการเลือกปฏิบัติและกีดกันเราจากการเข้าถึงทรัพยากรและสิทธิต่าง ๆ ที่เราพึงมีอย่างเท่าเทียม เช่นเดียวกันกับผู้หญิงและผู้ชาย เราจึงต่อสู้เพื่อผลักดันกฎหมายระบุเพศและแก้ไขคำนำหน้านามตามเจตจำนงWe are fighting for the right to be our own true selves without being harassed, aspiring to have our identity recognized by the law. This is to ensure we are protected from discrimination and deprivation of access to equal resources and deserving rights as women and men. We therefore strive for the Self-Determination Law with Gender Marker Revision.

    *พวกเรานอนไบนารี ผู้เชื่อว่าโลกนี้ไม่ได้มีและไม่ควรมีเพียง “หญิง” และ “ชาย” กลุ่มคนนอกระบบ 2 เพศที่ถูกทอดทิ้งในสังคมไทย ตลอด 8 ปีที่ผ่านมาของการเคลื่อนไหวและเรียกร้องสิทธิ พวกเรามักถูกตั้งคำถามถึงอัตลักษณ์ของพวกเราอยู่เสมอ ว่า “นอนไบนารี่” คืออะไร แม้จะมีข้อมูลและบทสัมภาษณ์มากมายบนอินเทอร์เน็ต แต่อัตลักษณ์ของเราก็ถือว่ายังไม่ได้เข้าไปอยู่ในการรับรู้ของคนไทยเท่าที่ควรนัก เราคือตัวอักษร “N” ที่ถูกลืมใน LGBTQIA(N)+แม้กระทั่งในวงการเคลื่อนไหวของชุมชนผู้มีความหลากหลายทางเพศเอง เราก็ยังถูกทิ้งเอาไว้ข้างหลังอยู่เสมอ เราเคยถูกตัดสิทธิ์จากร่างกฎหมาย พ.ร.บ. รับรองอัตลักษณ์ฯ ฉบับหนึ่ง โดยให้เหตุผลว่าประเด็นของเรานั้นยังต้องอาศัย “การพูดคุยกับคนในชุมชน” เพื่อให้ได้ข้อมูลมากเพียงพอ ทั้ง ๆ ที่ช่วงปลายปี 2565 เราได้ไปร่วมแทบจะทุกเวทีที่มีการเปิดรับฟังความคิดเห็นและได้ประกาศจุดยืนรวมถึงความต้องการของชุมชนนอนไบนารีไปเรียบร้อยแล้ว จึงทำให้เราไม่กล้าไว้ใจใครอีก นอกจากคนในชุมชนไม่เป็นที่รู้จักในสังคม ถูกหักหลังและทอดทิ้งในชุมชนเพศหลากหลาย เท่านั้นยังไม่พอ เพื่อน ๆ ของเราหลายคนยังถูกคุกคามบนโลกออนไลน์จนทำให้รู้สึกเจ็บปวดและมีบาดแผลในใจ อย่างไรก็ดี สังคมก็ยังคงตีตราพวกเราว่าเป็นพวก “หมกมุ่นกับการเมืองเรื่องอัตลักษณ์” เอะอะอะไรก็ “นอนไบนารี” ทำไมเรื่องมากจัง จะเป็นอะไรก็เป็นไปสิ ทำไมต้องมาทำให้คนอื่น “เดือดร้อน” ทำตัวเป็น “ภาระ” ด้วย แล้วเราจะเป็นตัวเองจริง ๆ ได้อย่างไรในเมื่อสังคมยังปฏิเสธการมีอยู่และตัวตนของเราขนาดนี้และที่รุนแรงที่สุดคือการถูกมองว่า นักเคลื่อนไหวด้านสิทธิทางเพศก็จะทำแต่ประเด็นตัวเองเท่านั้น และเพิกเฉยต่อประเด็นอื่นเหรอ ซึ่งไม่เป็นความจริงเลย เพราะเราเชื่อว่ามนุษย์ทุกคนไม่เคยมีเพียงอัตลักษณ์เดียว เราต่างสวมใส่หลากหลายอัตลักษณ์ที่ทับซ้อนกันอยู่ตลอดเวลา การเมืองเรื่องอัตลักษณ์จึงเป็นกรอบการมองแบบเริ่มต้นจากตัวเอง มันคือการที่เราหันหลับมามองตัวเองเพื่อพิจารณาและตระหนักรู้ว่า “เราคือใคร” และ “เราต้องการอะไร” จึงจะมองเห็นได้ว่า “เราถูกลิดรอนอะไรไป” แล้วในเมื่อเรารู้เช่นนั้นแล้ว เราก็จะสามารถเติมเต็มความต้องการของตนเองและช่วยเหลือเพื่อนมนุษย์บนโลกได้อย่างแท้จริง ดังเช่นขบวนในวันนี้ที่พิสูจน์ให้เห็นว่า LGBTQIAN+ โดยเฉพาะนอนไบนารี ไม่ได้มีแค่อัตลักษณ์ทางเพศ แต่ยังเป็นแรงงาน เป็นคนพิการ มีความเชื่อ มีศาสนา มีชาติพันธุ์ ที่ต่างยังถูกกดขี่

    ถ้าไม่ปลดแอกพวกเราทุกคน ก็จะไม่มีใครเป็นอิสระอย่างแท้จริง

    We Non-Binary people believe that this world does not and should not have only “women” and “men”. We are people beyond the gender binary who have been left out in Thai society and almost everywhere in the world. Throughout 8 years of movements and advocacy, we are always faced with the question “What exactly is Non-Binary?”. Despite a lot of information and interview articles available online, we are still not recognized by society as we should be. We are the N alphabet forgotten in the LGBTQIA(N)+.Even within LGBTQIAN+ rights advocacy, we are always left behind. Our rights were cut off in a Gender Recognition Act for the reason that “Community Listening” is not yet sufficient to cover their rights. However, we actually went to almost every hearing held for that act and have declared out stance along with our needs during the last quarter of 2022. This discrepancy led us to not trust anyone but our Non-Binary community only.Not recognized in society, betrayed and left behind in LGBTQIAN+ community, even worse, many of our friends have been cyber-bullied, left with pain and trauma. Nevertheless, we are still stigmiatized as “obsessed with identity politics”. Non-Binary this, Non-Binary that. Why so demanding? Why not just be yourself? Why so burdensome? But how could we possibly and truly be ourselves when society strongly rejects our existence?The most stigmatizing judgment is to be perceived that LGBTQIAN+ rights advocate are all about themselves and ignore all the other issues, which is definitely untrue. We believe that humans never possess only one single identity. We put on diverse identities all the time, hence a living embodiment of intersectionality. Identity Politics is thus a viewpoint that begins with ourselves. It is us looking back at ourselves, considering and recognizing “who we are” and “what we need”, which leads us to realize “what we are deprived of”. This realization allows us to fulfill our own needs and help other humans on earth at the end. Today’s Non-Binary Rising parade proves that LGBTQIAN+, especially Non-Binary, do not identify only with gender identity. We are also workers. We are disabled. We have our beliefs. We have our religions. We are of different races and ethnicities. But we are all oppressed. As Marsha P. Johnson said,

    “No pride for some of us without liberation for all of us”.
